ATGEORGIASTATE:
Three-year letterwinner as a linebacker
and defensive end ... Began the 2012 season at inside linebacker but
saw action at defensive end as injuries decimated the defensive line
... Played his first two seasons behind GSU’s top defender, outside
linebacker Jake Muasau, in 2010-11 ... Member of Georgia State’s
2009 signing class ... Began his career as a running back but moved
to linebacker early in the fall of 2009.
2012:
Played both inside linebacker and defensive end ...
Collected 24 tackles with three tackles for loss and one sack ...
Career-high six tackles with a tackle for loss in the season finale at
Maine ... Three tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack for a
9-yard loss versus Old Dominion.
2011:
Finished with 16 tackles, including three tackles for loss,
one sack and a fumble recovery ... Season-high four tackles against
St. Francis with one tackle for loss ... Had a fumble recovery, along
with three hits and a tackle for loss, at Jacksonville State ... Cred-
ited with a sack against Clark Atlanta ... Selected the team’s Most
Improved Player on Defense following spring practice.
2010:
Played in 10 games during the inaugural season ... Made
two of his three tackles, including a quarterback sack for an 8-yard
loss, in the Panthers’ victory over Lamar.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Honorable mention all-state selection by
the Atlanta Journal-Constitution ... Named area offensive player
of the year by the Americus Times Recorder ... Rushed for 1,596
yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior ... Averaged 7.8 yards per
carry ... Set a school record with over 3,200 yards in his career at
Marion County High ... Named all-area and Best Back in the Chat-
tahoochee Valley by the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer as a junior ...
Also a standout in basketball.

AT GEORGIA STATE:
One of three quarterbacks battling
for the starting job ... Starter for nine of 11 games as a redshirt
freshman in 2012 ... Took a redshirt year in 2011 ... Named to the
Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for fall 2011 and the Dean’s List for
the spring 2013.
2012:
Passed for 1,592 yards and 10 touchdowns but threw 11
interceptions ... Enjoyed his best game with 213 yards passing, two
touchdowns and no turnovers in win at Rhode Island ... Hooked
up with Albert Wilson for the two longest plays from scrimmage
in GSU history with an 84-yard touchdown pass against UTSA
