AT GEORGIA STATE:
Talented offensive lineman and the
Panthers’ starting left tackle ... Versatile enough to play anywhere
on the line and has started games at tackle, guard and center in his
career ... Signed with the Panthers as part of the 2010 recruiting
class and earned playing time as a true freshman.
2012:
Started 10 of 11 games at left tackle, giving way only
on Senior Day ... Had a strong spring, when he earned the team’s
Dominator Award.
2011:
Started at three different positions in the first five games
of the season ... Entered the season as the backup left tackle and
started the season opener at left tackle in place of injured Clyde
Yandell ... Two games later, after Georgia State’s top two centers
were injured, he started at center against Houston ... Then against
Murray State, he started at left guard while Joseph Gilbert served a
one-game suspension ... Played in 10 games, starting four.
2010:
Working at left tackle behind Clyde Yandell, he played
in four games off the bench during the inaugural season, seeing
action against Morehead State, Savannah State, Lamar and
Alabama.
HIGH SCHOOL:
First-team all-Savannah by the Savannah
Morning News ... Two-time first-team all-region selection in
3-AAAAA ... Anchor of an offensive line at Bradwell Institute that
paved the way for 2,000 yards rushing ... Played center, defensive
end and long snapper for coach Jim Walsh ... On offense he had
32 pancake blocks as a senior and 90 for his career ... Recorded 26
tackles with nine tackles for a loss on defense while returning two
fumbles for touchdowns ... Also played basketball and baseball.

Named to the 2012 CAA Football
Academic All-Conference team ... Made the Dean’ls List for the
spring 2013 semester and the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for
the fall 2012.
2012:
Backup safety and special teams standout ... Played in
every game in 2012 and made eight tackles ... Made two tackles
against UTSA, New Hampshire, and Old Dominion ... Served as
special teams captain for the Richmond game and broke up a pass
in that game ... Joined the program in 2011 and was as honored as
a Scout Team Player of the Year that season ... Made the Athletic
Director’s Honor Roll for the fall 2011 and spring 2012.
Played two years (2009-10) at Millikin University (NCAA
Division III) in Decatur, Ill., before transferring to GSU in 2011 ...
Played in nine games in 2010 at Millikin, including two starts, and
made 24 tackles.
