AT GEORGIA STATE:
Talented defender who was pressed
into action as a true freshman after signing with the Panthers in
2012 ... Has good speed and athletic ability, should benefit from
added strength and bulk
2012:
Played in nine games at defensive end and made nine
tackles ... Two tackles with one sack against New Hampshire ... A
shared sack against Old Dominion ... Also had two tackles against
Richmond.
HIGH SCHOOL:
First-team all-region in 2-AAAA, Division
A ... Honorable mention all-region selection as a junior ... All-area
by Savannah Morning News ... Played defensive end and tight
end for coach Kirk Warner at Liberty County High School ... Had
51 tackles, 1.5 sacks and four pass deflections as a junior ... Also

AT GEORGIA STATE:
Versatile skill player who was a
member of the Panthers’ original signing class in 2009 ... Worked
at wide receiver in the spring after playing primarily running
back the last three seasons ... Part of GSU history as he scored the
Panthers’ first-ever touchdown ... Also used on kickoff returns.
2012:
Played in every game as a running back and kickoff
returner and totalled 282 all-purpose yards ... Scored on a 10-yard
touchdown reception at James Madison, when he had career highs
with four receptions for 21 yards ... Rushed 12 times for 32 yards
and caught nine passes for 41 yards ... Had 13 kickoff returns for a
16.1-yard average.
2011:
Rushed for 58 yards on 19 carries while catching eight
passes for 34 yards ... Averaged 23.2 yards on 13 kickoff returns
... Top game was against South Alabama, when he rushed for 32
yards on six carries and had two kickoff returns for 44 yards ...
Returned three kickoffs for 84 yards against Old Dominion and
four for 85 yards against Murray State, including a career-long
30-yard return.
2010:
Tied for second on the team in touchdowns with four ...
Rushed for 161 yards on 40 carries ... Also had 13 receptions for 59
yards and eight kickoff returns for a 17.8-yard average.
GSU’s leading rusher in its inaugural game with 62 yards on
eight carries vs. Shorter, including a season-long run of 33 yards
... Scored the first touchdown in Georgia State history on a 4-yard
run on the Panthers’ very first possession ... Also had a 27-yard
kickoff return in the inaugural game ... Rushed seven times for 38
yards with a 4-yard scoring run against Morehead State ... Season-
high three receptions for 11 yards against North Carolina Central
... Finished the season with eight kickoff returns for 142 yards.

Highly-regarded prospect who was tabbed
to the Florida Times-Union’s preseason “Super 11” and postseason
“Super 24” ... Also named to the newspaper’s All-First Coast
