AT GEORGIA STATE:
Backup wide receiver ... Late addition
to the 2011 recruiting class who signed in March ... Named to the
Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for fall 2011.
2012:
Caught 10 passes for 101 yards ... Had six receptions
over the final three games, with two catches each against James
Madison, Old Dominion and Maine ... Longest reception of the
year was a 41-yard completion against UTSA ... Added an 18-yard
catch against James Madison.
2011:
Played in three games as a backup but did not catch a
pass.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Played quarterback and defensive back and
returned kicks for Swainsboro High School ... Named Two-Way
Player of the Year for Region 3-AA ... Honorable mention all-area
by the Augusta Chronicle ... Passed for 535 yards and eight
touchdowns while rushing for 406 yards and six scores as a senior
... Led Swainsboro to an undefeated (10-0) regular season and a
playoff berth in 2010 ... Team captain for coach David Johnson ...
Received the team’s Golden Helmet Award ... Also a standout in
basketball who helped Swainsboro reach the 2011 state semifinals
in Class AA ... Named Player of the Week by WTOC-TV in

Junior college transfer from Georgia
Military College in the 2013 recruiting class ... Enrolled at Georgia
State for the spring semester and competed for the quarterback job
in a competition that will continue in preseason camp.
JUNIOR COLLEGE/HIGH SCHOOL:
Rated the No. 70
junior college prospect in the nation by 247Sports ... In nine games
at GMC in 2012, he passed for 1,907 yards with 20 touchdowns and
only seven interceptions ... Added two touchdowns rushing ... Led
coach Bert Williams’ squad to a berth in the C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart
of Texas Bowl, of which he was MVP in a last-second, 30-23 loss ...
Enjoyed a record-setting day in GMC’s final regular-season game,
completing 21-of-31 passes for 342 yards and five touchdowns in
a 43-25 victory over Lackawanna and was named NJCAA Player
of the Week ... Played at Harrison High School for coach David
Hines.
