Three-year starter at wide receiver
who owns a share of the Georgia State career record with 104
receptions while ranking second with 1,361 receiving yards and
nine touchdowns ... Caught at least one pass in Georgia State’s first
23 games before he was injured in the second game of 2012 ... Four
100-yard games in his first two seasons.
Tall and lanky with excellent leaping ability ... Very good
blocker ... Because of his height and leaping ability, he has been
used on defense in late-game situations when the opponent is
attempting a Hail Mary pass ... Signed with Georgia State as a
member of the Panthers’ 2009 signing class ... Earned his bach-
elor’s degree in May 2013.
2012:
Finished the season with 20 catches (third on team) for
227 yards and one touchdown ... Missed the Tennessee game with
an ankle injury and was hampered virtually the entire season ...
Caught a 13-yard touchdown pass in the season finale vs. Maine ...
Season highs of four catches for 55 yards against Villanova ... Also
had four receptions against Richmond and Old Dominion.
2011:
Second on the team with 30 receptions for 485 yards
and three TD ... Set the then-GSU record with 151 yards receiving
on nine catches vs. Murray State, including a 43-yard touchdown
catch and a 49-yard reception ... Hauled in a career-long 56-yard
touchdown pass in the season finale against Campbell. Finished
with four catches for 92 yards. Also recovered two Campbell
on-sides kicks in the fourth quarter to help seal the victory ...
Added a 22-yard TD catch vs. St. Francis ... Named to the 2011
CFPA Wide Receiver Preseason Watch List.
2010:
The leading receiver and Offensive MVP for Georgia
State’s inaugural team ... Led the Panthers with 54 receptions for
649 yards and five TD ... Averaged 4.9 catches and 59.0 yards per
game ... Caught at least one pass in every game ... Voted the team’s
Outstanding Wide Receiver and Most Valuable Player on Offense
by his teammates.
Became the Panthers’ first-ever 100-yard receiver with eight
catches for 101 yards in win over Morehead State ... Bettered that
with five catches for 103 yards against N.C. Central, including a
24-yard touchdown catch that put GSU ahead with 5:36 to play.
Also had a 19-yard catch for a third-down conversion on the
scoring drive.
Career-high 11 catches for 102 yards against Old Dominion,
which is the GSU record for most receptions in a game ... Had five
receptions for 82 yards against South Alabama, including a 47-yard
scoring play that is his longest reception of the year ... Caught an
eight-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter of GSU’s 24-21
win at Campbell. Also had a spectacular, one-handed grab on that
drive.
