Brittany is the daughter of Lafayette
and Betty Logan. She was born just a
few miles from the GSU Sports Arena
at Georgia Baptist Hospital, now the
Atlanta Medical Center.
She attended Woodridge Elementary
in Atlanta, Salem Middle School in
Miller Grove and her first two years
of high school at Meadowcreek in
Norcross.
Her big growth spurt came between
middle school and ninth grade when
she went from 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-3
by the time she was ready for high
school ball.
Her father, who is 6-foot-3, is a 24-
year Army veteran who served in
Vietnam. Her mother has made a
career as a nurse.
Brittany enjoys history and reading,
especially African-American litera-
ture. She also professes to be able to
draw fairly well.
Brittany's unique path to a college
career saw her miss four years of
basketball between high school and
college. She became the mother of
twins and devoted her time to them
instead of trying to go to college.
When Georgia Perimeter gave her a
chance to renew her basketball career
in 2010-11, she decided to give that
another try.
Her fiance, Andre King, is fan num-
ber one for Brittany, while her twin
son and daughter will be cheering her
on as well. The twins were born on a
Valentine's Day.
